LECTURING ON THE MA IN MUSEUM AND GALLERY STUDIES

Since January 2024 I have been lecturing on the MA in Museum and Gallery Studies at Kingston University London. I deliver lectures and seminars as part of the modules Learning and Experience (Term 1) and Exhibition and Encounter (Term 2). My sessions draw from my professional and academic background working with artists, researching artistic practices, devising and evaluating creative programmes in and outside arts institutions. Through my lectures I aim to support students on the development of their academic and professional practices while encouraging critical thinking and writing.

CO-CHAIR: LIBERATING THE 'FRUSTRATED EVALUATOR'

How can we co-create methods to tell more complex narratives of change? How can we talk about ‘impact’ in a broader and more radical way and in language we all understand? Hosted as part of  the Guildhall School’s ResearchWorks event series, the session reflected on the challenges presented by arts evaluation in the current cultural climate as well as exploring the potential for designing innovative and co-created evaluation approaches. Co-chaired by myself and Dr Maia Mackney from Guildhall School, this session shared the content of our evaluation chapter written as part of the Disrupt 2022 Toolkit.
