LECTURING IN THE MA IN MUSEUM AND GALLERY STUDIES

Since January 2024 I have been lecturing in the MA in Museum and Gallery Studies at Kingston University London. I deliver lectures and seminars as part of the modules Learning and Experience (Term 1) and Exhibition and Encounter (Term 2). My sessions draw from my professional and academic background working with artists, researching artistic practices, devising and evaluating creative programmes in and outside arts institutions. Through my lectures I aim to support students on the development of their academic and professional practices while encouraging critical thinking and writing.

LECTURE: (CONTEMPORARY) ARTISTS IN MUSEUMS

My lecture on contemporary artists in museums focuses on the impact on contemporary artistic research on museum practices such as interpretation and learning. Students are invited to think about the different ways museums can work with contemporary artists, with attention to the practical aspects (e.g. budget, logistics and evaluation) involved in these projects. I recently delivered this lecture as part of the module Exhibition and Encounter of the MA in Museum and Gallery Studies at Kingston University London.
